Consulting and Patreon

I took some time off recently to think about all the time I put into Black Label Logic, and to do the books on it. Between my normal weekly essay, twitter and The Red Man Group, I put in between 10 and 40 hours a week

The result was that I put out a tweet asking if people would prefer a consulting service or Patreon as a future monetization strategy. The feedback was that most preferred Patreon, but there seems to be a market for people who would like consults, and while I’ve had requests for this service previously, I’ve held out on offering it due to the fact that it can rapidly become time consuming.

  • Please send me an email, 500 words or less describing the issue(s) you would like to discuss with me (blacklabellogic[at]protonmail[dot]com) I will try to get back to you within 7 days.
  • Please include an offer for how much my services are worth to you.
  • I will only accept payment in bitcoin at this time, I will send you a payment link prior to our meeting. (For a primer on using bitcoin please check out this link)
  • All consultations will be via Google Hangout (I will send out a link 15 minutes prior to the agreed upon time, please be on time) or via email if you prefer. (I would offer Skype, but Microsoft keeps banning my anon-accounts.)

I’ve also created a Patreon account https://www.patreon.com/blacklabellogic

All tiers get access to my Patreon only feed, where I will be putting out shorter essays intermittently along with observations and regular Tinder/Bumble/Happn updates. I will also be sharing some content from the second Gendernomics book that I’m currently working on.

For my $20 a month Patreons I will be putting out 2 additional essays (1000 – 2000 words) per month, in addition to the content in the first tier.

The $50 tier (limited to 10 people) includes all the former plus an invitation to a once a month Google hangout, the structure of the hangout depends on demand, but I’m thinking a short Gendernomics presentation similar to the ones I’ve done occasionally on The Red Man Group and Q&A.
