The Cult of Crazy Chicks: Part 1

For those of you who are long time readers, you are probably familiar with my writings on various forms of damaged women. I’ve previously covered narcissism, borderline personality disorder, anti-social personality disorder, general methods that they employ to control their victim, in addition to a general post on how prevalent they are within our society and how our western society manufactures crazy women and beta males. This new 4 part series expands on the various details that I outlined in those posts in order to put this into a framework made by cult expert Steven Hassan, referred to as the “BITE” framework [1].

The 4 parts of this framework consist of the methodology that cults use in order to indoctrinate and control their members, and has surprisingly large overlaps with how a personality disordered woman slowly permeates every aspect of her victim’s life in order to gain control. This framework is based on work by psychiatrist Robert Lifton and builds on his book “Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism” [2], the research behind this book being focused on American servicemen who had been prisoners of war during the Korean War, as well as people who had been prisoners in China after 1951. In addition, he interviewed other people who had been prisoners of regimes that utilized various brainwashing and mind control techniques.

As with many influence techniques, these may be used to both positive and negative ends. Each essay will be focused on one element of the “BITE” framework, that consists of Behavior control, information control, thought control and emotional control. This first essay is concerned with Behavioral control, based on Steven Hassan’s list, I will outline how the various elements are utilized by destructive women in order to influence and control the people in their life. The Methods to Female Madness

skinner-boxFor a while, I’ve been throwing around ideas in my head for writing a post about red flags, and various other things men should look out for in women. However, as I was doing my research on the topic, throughout various manosphere sites, I found that it had been a fairly frequently covered topic. From red flags [3,4], to various takes on the characteristics of female psychopaths [1], borderlines [2], histrionics, bi-polar and quite a few other mental illnesses, it has been covered. So, rather than repeating much of what has previously been written, I decided to research the methodologies of these women on a more abstract basis. More specifically, the means to the desired end.

There is no shortage of stories floating around the internet about abusive females, cluster-B females, female sociopaths and various other forms in which these women appear. However, their madness has some method to it, in that many of them engage in similar tactics. From my other article on this topic, where I evaluated how likely you are to bang crazy, the odds of doing so are quite high, as 21.8% of American women can be diagnosed with mental illness within a 12 month period. However, given that that is only those who could be diagnosed, the probability are that the number of women with severely problematic traits is much higher.

A common theme throughout the stories that were part of the research, was certain patterns that seem eerily similar, yet without the requisite knowledge does not make sense. Everything from being highly unpredictable, rapid mood swings, constant goal post switching, virtually changing personalities, and contradictory behaviors. However, when viewed from the perspective of combined red pill and influence, they make perfect sense. Continue reading

Of rational and rationalizing actors

rationalization hamsterA central foundation of economics as a field is the rational actor. Homo Econonomicus as it is called is an abstraction that makes much of economic theory possible, through the assumption that humans logically weigh options, utilizing concepts such as marginal utility, taking into account sunk costs and opportunity costs, and countless other principles that together construct the theoretical framework of economics. The homo economicus has no preferences, no bias, make no flaws in their logic and has perfect information. The interesting part of this is that marketing (a sub-field of economics) and economics are at odds, because if humans truly were rational actors, then marketing should have little value outside of being the source of the perfect information. However, if we take a look at marketing, it becomes clear that in marketing informing is a means to an end, the end being persuasion and influence. The model used in economics is one of needs and wants, where a need is a biological urge that needs to be sated and a want is the preferred manner in sating that urge. For instance, thirst is a need, preferring green tea is a want. If the human in question was a rational actor, the way to make such a decision was to weigh all the drink choices, and then make a choice based on the relative merits of each beverage option. These merits could include such categories as flavor preferences, health benefits, health detriments and so on, and thereafter a choice could be made. Continue reading

Influence: Information gathering

information gatheringDilbert creator and hypnotist Scott Adams tend to think of human beings as biological robots. As someone with a computer science background, I understand where he is coming from. A computer is at the simplest a series of switches that are turned off and on, which produces various results. I’ve recently been doing some work on a hobby that involves Proportional Integration Derivation (PID) controllers, to automate some tasks I had been doing manually. What makes a PID different from a simple controller, is that the PID will “learn” over time. For instance, if I need to maintain water at exactly 210f using a heating element, where the element is controlled by a PID, it will over time learn for how long it needs to turn the element on in order to maintain 210 degrees and not go over so that the liquid boils. Gendernomics: The recipe for Oneitis

unicorn-06I haven’t spoken much on investment theories related to the concept of gendernomics. Investment theories are various patterns that have been observed and sometimes quantified when it comes to how humans psychologically act when doing investments, mostly in stocks. The stock market is one of those areas that tend to reward consistent behavior, reason and attention to facts something demonstrated by the value investors such as Warren Buffet who stick with a series of rules in order to reduce the emotional impact of making large investments. There are multiple ways an investment can impact humans emotionally, the first one is losing or gaining money. When your stocks are in the black, you feel elated, you feel more confident, intelligent, and competent. When your stocks are in the red, you feel deflated, stupid and incompetent.   When you are getting ready to “get in” you can be hit with fear, apprehension, anxiety, and when you get out even after taking a huge loss, you may feel more relaxed, and calm.

Many of the same mechanisms are in effect when you are pursuing a woman. Some PUA techniques, such as rapid cold-approaching are built not only to reduce your social anxiety, but also to reduce your approach anxiety, through behavioral conditioning. If you have done something a thousand times, then it will naturally have less of an emotional impact on you have trained yourself to have a tolerance for it.

The beauty of human neuroplasticity and physical reaction is that once you are aware of something, you can train yourself to be less affected by it. This is what is done with cognitive-behavioral therapy. As long as you are aware of the principles at work, you can improve your resistance to them.
